The Impact of Business Model Innovation on the Performance of Enterprises

Abstract:
The viewpoints on innovation have been developed immensely from the times of Alois Schumpeter. Presently, the concept of enterprise management is undergoing changes due to the impact of various factors on companies; and the intensity of these impacts is very high compared to previous times. Enterprises must develop and adapt all the time. The understanding of own business model as well as the ability to understand and use innovation for the purpose of creating a business model is an essential component in the development of a competitive enterprise. The goal of this paper is: (1) to form a comprehensive conception of business model with previous uncongenial opinions of experts (their models are inclined with viewpoints that they use for deciphering the relations in business models), and (2) to present the positives of business model innovation and its impact on the performance of enterprises, using practical examples.
