The aim of this paper is a comparative analysis of these payments in four middle-European post-communistic countries - the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland and Hungary. The paper is split into two sections. Firstly, there is described the LFA payment system and compared its acquisition terms and amounts of its payments. The second part deals with the impact of LFA payments on the economic results of the farmers. By the connection of these sections the reader gains the comprehensive view of LFA payment problems in the investigated countries of the European Union.
